Favorite Things Swap!
I got a sweet package in the mail last night from my Favorite Things Swap Partner! Jessica you sent some awesome things girl- thank you. She & I are so much alike, it is CRAZY! I received: a cool pregnancy magazine, fun Ikea ice trays (love IKEA!), spinbrush toothebrush (I needed a good one :), yummy bubble bath (who doesn't love a bubble bath?!) & some of my fav--REd Vines- which btw, lasted like 5 minutes! (We had my bro's & their families over last night & the package was out!) Better to share, I would've polished them off myself- that can't be good :) So, now I need to lay in a luxurious bubble bath reading my mag & sipping some lemonade with cool ice :) Hmmmmmm, when can I plan on that happening?!?!?!
THANKS AGAIN-- THAT WAS FUN!

I'm still here- just haven't felt so hot lately! I needed a good laugh, so had to share just a few of these hilarious "De-Motivators" - WARNING: You need a good sense of humor !
Enjoy:
The best leaders inspire by example, when that's not an option, brute intimidation works well too.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots!
Success is a journey, not a destination. So stop running!
If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly!
Always remember that you are unique. Just like everybody else.

ANOTHER DOG?!
This morning around 630am I get startled by this furry animal jumping on me! It was a cute little pup Jason found in the middle of the road & it didn't have tags. He jumped right in Jason's truck with him. He is a really lovable lil' guy & he looks a lot like Yoshi. The boys are all loving him & wanting to keep him. I keep explaining, he has a home & we need to find it. So, if anyone knows who he belongs to, let us know. Otherwise, I guess the Curtis's will continue to raise pups- I am a sucker!!

Father's Day Tributes!!
Happy Father's Day Jas!
He is an amazing man! He is a hard working, wiggle car ridin', swimming buddy, story telling at night, cuddling by the boys, four wheel ridin', song maker-upper, funny picture drawing, tickle monster, jokester, Wii playing, High School Musical Dancing (for the kids of course), popcorn & sno-cone making/ eating, fun loving Dad! Creed says he loves when daddy bounces him high on the tramp. Treygen likes to go on 4-wheel rides with dad- it is Awesome :) Tekai also likes the 4-wheeler & loves to tackle daddy when he walks in the room! Thank you Jas for being the most loving & fun dad for our family. We all love you & hope you have a great day!
P.S. I also hope my non-vegetarian dinner turns out- if not, you always have the "meat man" back up in the freezer! I'm pretty sure I can handle the yummy potatoes & corn recipes- not making any guarantees with this new chicken one -sorry.
I'm sure I will have more pics of my boys on Father's Day- will add more later ;)
**Great Dad #2**
Jason has a wonderful dad whom I get to call Dad too. (Although I kinda like calling him Elby!) He is always happy & ready to give us some piece of information we haven't heard before. We love it. He is very knowledgable in everything. He is very talented & a go-getter of a guy. I think we know where Jason gets his ambition from :) He was a great coach for Jason on many teams. A great Scout Leader- always having fun. We are truly grateful for his love & support he gives us. Our children absolutely adore him & love the buckin' bronco rides he is always up for giving. He has so much energy to go around & loves to hike, repel, boat, fish & play with the kids. He loves Sharp Cheddar Cheese, & one year for Christmas that is what we gave him!- a BIG block of cheese & crackers- couldn't ask for more huh Papa Bear?! We miss seeing him & Mom since they moved to Texas. They are doing great work out there both for the Church & for their jobs. Thank you for your amazing love & example you teach us. We hope you have a wonderful Father's Day & hope to see you soon. We love you & are so happy to call you "Papa Bear" ;)
*These are some fun pictures of Elby & the kids- & Jason with Dad*

My Sweet Daddy who is not here with us, on earth, anyway- but we know his Spirit is with us. It has been another emotional holiday for me, missing my dad on Father's Day. I don't know anyone who knew my dad that didn't smile each time he was around.
He was a jokester, a whistler, a Johnny Cash listener, a Pink Panther watching, a rough hugger, a pleaser, a BYU's Biggest fan, a rook playing, a New York Yankee follower, a Big Hearted, a loudest fan in the stands, a "Judas Priest" yelling, a peanut butter eating, a Best White Elephant giving, a world travelling, kind hearted man! And I get to call him my Dad! If ever I was having a hard time with anything, I could call him or go see him & he knew exactly what to say. Whether it was what I wanted to hear or not, he knew how to handle things & give compassion & love at the same time. He ran LDS Social Services in Arizona, ran the IHC Hospice program up here & has helped so many people unconditionally. I'm so proud to be part of his Legacy & hope that I can carry on some of his wonderful teachings to my children. I love you Padre & my heart aches, I miss you.

Fiesta Fun
About 8 months ago I bought these tickets from a door salesman for Fiesta Fun. It was an awesome deal & I had no idea until we actually went :) We got there right when they opened, so if it got too hot we could take off. We had the place to ourselves for like 2 hours, it was SWEET! Our kids could go on anything they wanted & would just go & go. Creed loved the bumber boats, race cars & arcade games. Treygen loved the race cars & mini cars, as well as the arcades. They won over 500 tickets- & made quite the Hall with toys. Creed got a Harmonica & candy necklace among other random toys. Treygen got a recorder (we're encouraging it to be an outdoors musical instrument!), slinky, & some other things. Tekai loved the Soft Play area & mini cars- he too got a spiky ball & Creed won him a frog in a grabber machine. It was classic- I told Creed those machines are really hard & you don't always win things- just then it grabbed a frog stuffed animal! He then tried it a few more times before realizing, he was good with the one win. We had a fun time miniature golfing too. Treygen got a hole in one on the first hole. Jas & I didn't do so hot- but we had 3 kids to attend to, we weren't as focused as we normally would be playing golf-hahaa! We were there for 7 1/2 hours & exhausted when leaving. We did stop & get Blue Bunny ice-cream though- not that tired! We had to go to the big place one more time before they move to a smaller location. Our boys love the lights, music & GI-Normous ice cream statues. The radio was there doing a broadcast & Creed even one a bell that says "blue bunny." I felt like we had been at Disneyland all day. It was non-stop adventure & well worth it!
