*Hiking on the Red Hill *Moms BdayWe celebrated my cute mom's Bday in May. I had to make her famous Red Velvet Cake. This picture is so sweet. Right before mom blew our her candles, Kai told her to wish that Gpa could come back! -Sweetest moment--we would love for that wish to come true!
Woohoo Yay to my kiddos who accomplished another school year! Creed loved 2nd grade & had the most amazing teacher Mrs Read Rocked! She got him excited about all school things. He did great & was top in his class with reading & Math. We know Creedo the competitive kid doesn't like to lose or, not be the best- haha.

Treyg had a good year in Kindergarten. I think it wouldve helped if we started him on time & not 10 days late. (due to being back East for the summer) He had a hard time adjusting & making friends. He is so compassionate & nice, it was hard for me to see that the other kids kinda already had their "friends" -- he did finally feel better after a few months & started to hang out with some nice kids. This kid is a sassy, always kick back, have a good time kind of guy & I love him, even when I'm not in a joking mood. :) We all need his spirit in us.

We spent Memorial Weekend in Richfield/Annabella visiting my dad's cemetary. ( I hate saying "grave" & even "cemetary" but, it is what it is! :( We had a great time with my siblings & the whole family. We swam, played at the parks, played "frisketball" (basketball, frisbee football mix) ate yummy Pepperbelly's & stayed up way too late playing some sweet games of "Rook" (in memory of my dad).
Jas met us up there on his way home from his shift he had in North Dakota. He text me while we were at the park & said "I've got a wild hair- why don't we go down to California!" Obviously I told him he better not be joking, cuz that wouldn't be cool.... he smiled & said "no, for real"
Heck yeah we wanted to go. The kids were already upset about not being able to go fishing up at Fish Lake due to the snow. (yeah, snow the end of May!) So, when we mentioned it in the car, they all got excited. Well, Creed thought we were joking too. Kai's first reaction was "Yes, then I get to go to Sea World & get me a Shamu wallet!" He's been wanting it since we left there last trip :) Treyg said he wanted to see the cool dolphin show & sit on the front row. Cayz just kept saying "Shamu?! & Beach!?"-- pretty much the whole drive.

*Beach BumsWe stopped in St George re-packed for the beach weather & headed out. We didn't get to San Diego until 3:45am-- we were crazy! But it was fun to do a "spur of the moment" trip. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott on Hotel Circle & spent 2 days at the Beach & 2 days at Sea World. We never can get enough of Cali. I love that my kids get sooo excited about Sea World -like me :) (I've raised them well!) haha... 
Cayz was mesmerized by everything. She likes to tell us stories about the whales & the fun she had there. Each morning now she asks "We go to Sea World? or Beach?" 
We rode all the fun rides: Atlantis, Shipwreck Rapids, a bunch of fun kiddy rides in the "Bay of Play" saw all our FAV animal friends: Shamu, Bubbles & Shadow(pilot whales), dolphins, sharks, penguins, beluga whales, polar bears, turtles, starfish & batrays.
Cayz was mesmerized by everything. She likes to tell us stories about the whales & the fun she had there. Each morning now she asks "We go to Sea World? or Beach?" *The batrays became great friends with Kai & Cayz* (kids were a little saddened the batrays were in a new area & couldn't be touched...but next summer they'll have another wicked awesome roller coaster by the batrays new home!)
The boys made a crazy decision to sit on the front row of the dolphin/pilot whale show. They were SOAKED by the end! Cayz & I got some sweet picts of the whales splashing them :) haha...
Kai was a little upset he was like an inch too short for the big rides :( but was very happy about his bro's & dad bringing him his Shamu wallet he has wanted! They ran up to us & told him to close his eyes- then surprised him. It was like Christmas for him! Creed-o was super stoked when the dolphins swam over to him & he was able to touch them. I thought he was going to jump in after that. I'd know he was my kid, for sure! Treyg & Kai couldn't quite reach, but about fell in. They liked playing with the starfish & the crazy big birds eyeballing us while we ate. It was a great day.

We did the "Dine all day" passes for 3 of us. It is soooo worth it. Surprisingly they have some pretty healthy yummy food. We all end up being chuck full & eating great whenever we wanted :) for way cheaper than buying 1 meal. I was a little upset SW was only open until 6pm since it wasn't summer hours yet :( - but, I lived. We got "Year Fun Passes" so we can go back anytime we want. Anyone up for a Cali trip?!?!?
My friend Kelly & her cute lil guy Wyatt met up with us & it was fun to play with them. They are lucky enough to live in SD. I just love Kel, we've been friends since I moved to St. George & she is the greatest! We were able to attend her & Kevin's wedding a few summer's ago down there, & it was beautiful.
The ocean was FAnTaBulOus, as always! Kiddos loved jumping the waves, digging for sand crabs, burying each other in the sand & just smiling the whole day :) love these days....

We ate at some great yummy grub restaurants: The Amigo Spot & Cheesecake Factory being our favs.
While we were there, we swam at the hotel pool. Kai & Treyg just took off like wild fish & swam soo well. I was soo happy. Kai would dive down & hold his breath forever as he swam. We are teaching him to come up for air! Treyg has been swimming for awhile but was a little hesitant, until he watched Tekai take off. He didn't want to be shown up, so really got brave. I'm so proud of both of them. Now I won't be as nervous at the pool, with 3 of the 4 knowing how to swim. Cayz likes to splash & kick & do "straddle together" on steps or shamu shelf.
Creed was Wicked Awesome, "taking one for the team" & missing his last baseball game so we could play another day at Sea World. He had a great season & loved pitching in quite a few games. He did really well striking out 4 guys in one game (pitching 2 innings) & several others in other games. Had some great hits & fun on his "Oakland Athletics" team. He has so much spirit for sports, it is great fun to watch!
Now, we are ready for Competitive Soccer FireFc. Creed tried out & made the team! It is year round & strenuous. Cdog has some good buddies on his team & is excited: Ben Leavitt, Ben Ekins, Brody Stewart, Bridger Heaton are a few. Hope we can bare the heat! They are playing at night, it cools off to the 90's atleast :)
Kai is still loving Karate & is soo dang cute to watch in his lil uniform. He is learning a lot & has a great time teaching his bro's & sis. This kid is solid, quick to learn & determined. His Sense' is really good with the kids & teaches discipline & self defense. He will also be doing KICKS Soccer soon. He has a fun hilarious laugh that is very contagious!
We continue to swim most of the days at Bickmores. Kai now swims to the bottom of the 10 1/2 foot deep end-- I was a bit FreaKed out! But he does soo well. Treyg always amazes everyone with his cool tricks. He's been doing his famous "Bobcat" (front flip) off the diving board since he was 2!!!! He enjoys entertaining us by dancing on the hot tub wall & rocking out to our sweet tunes. He's excited to play KICKS soccer coming up.
Creed is learning new fun tricks: dives, back flips, swimming along the bottom & his fun "made up" goods off the diving board.
Cayz now jumps to me & also in on her own, on the shamu shelf. She likes to count as she does it. Our highest in one day was 38! I was a bit worn out :) She wears her little Nemo floaties that used to be Creeds. Those bad boys have lasted thru 4 kids! Costco swim stuff Rocks!
We are looking forward to heading to AZ to visit Jill & her family for the 4th of July. The 115 degree weather doesn't sound awesome, but we are all awesome - so NO BIG WOOP right?!! We'll be swimming most of the time with an occasional break to Bahama Bucks- our Fav snocone joint! Mmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I may need to hit Home Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, Victoria's Secret, Rod Works & IKEA as well. Shh, don't tell Jeej, she will be like a Tornado of Anger! :) hehe...love ya sis, just messin' with ya, but Flancer's is on the LIST. Excited to see our friends too. Mel & I have been friends since we were born & we have kids close to the same age & they are all little buddies. :) Bring on the Fun!
Kai guy has been up to sooo much.... he started swimming & just took off like a fish in San Diego! It is crazy how it just clicked & he is soo brave. He dives down, does cool tricks & even swims to the bottom of Leesa's (Jas' sister) pool (10ft) -yeah I was a bit freaked out!
