Time Flying

Wow- time flies when you're having fun with your kiddos! We had a wonderful Christmas, especially since it came early this year- with Cayzli :) She has been a sweetheart & the boys still love her... good sign! I am trying to get back to reality, slowly but surely. I still feel like a bit of an invalid with my wound- but it is starting to heal. They take pictures of it each time I go into the wound clinic, & it has shrunk down quite a bit- here's to my healing :) .......

*We were supposed to get family pictures done- but the weather was crappy all week, so here is a snapshot of the kids until our decent pics!*

*Our little Princess sleeping Christmas away....

*Treyg's with his fun stuff*
*Kai having a blast with his Christmas toys* - all but his "tickle me Cookie monster" - he doesn't love that toy, in fact it down right scares him! We already had to put him in the box & in the closet- haha :)
*Creed showing off his Fish Aquarium- Treyg's enjoying it too*-- only 3 were bellied up Christmas morning- 8 survived Santa's sleigh!
*Cayzli- all dolled up! We love to get her all "prettied up"
*Sportin' her BYU shirt for the Big Game! (& baby legs)

*Cayzli met her grandparents from Texas- we were so happy they came for Christmas!

*Creed & his "goods" - Jason made the boys "BigFoot Pillows" with their pictures on them & fun other fabric on the toes....
*Tekai the "TANK" - he is sooo Big to me now that we have this little itty bitty baby!

*The "Block Fort" - Jason decided the week of Christmas to make blocks for the boys- we stayed up until 4:30am Christmas Eve painting all 355 of them! He did not mess around & it was the HIT of Christmas :) What an awesome daddy! Jas also made me 2 big frames & got me a new Video Camera :) how do you top that?! Thanks babe you have been a Saint this Christmas & put up with a lot around here, you are truly the BEST.... Love you Always & Forever :) it's crazy to think we will have been married 10 years this Friday!
More pictures to come..............

Princess Cayzli

*I am loving all of this hair :)

Cayzli Raine Curtis - Yes she finally has a name!!!

I was having an amazing recovery with this 4th C-section, & feeling so GREAT--until Sunday when my doctor looked at my incision & saw a couple spots that hadn't sealed. I still didn't think it was any big woop, until the wound clinic doctor came in to check it out, & decided to open the rest of my incision!! Youch....Yeah, I was a little freaked out to see my open insides, even if it is just the top layers! I asked if they were going to just stitch it back up & they told me that now it has to heal from the inside out by packing it daily with gauze stuff. My pain has since increased & now I am popping pain meds that I don't like to take, but better to help with the pain when they are messing with my guts. I was a bit down & pretty frustrated with this whole sitch, knowing the recovery of this open wound could take a month!

I have Home Health coming out daily to help pack & seal it & I will be getting a "wound Vac" on Friday that is supposed to help speed up the recovery. Thank heavens I have my Mom & family that have helped so much. Jason & I could not do this alone. Tuesday before the home health nurse came in, I tried unwrapping the bandages myself. I got in the shower & pretty much passed out :( It was a little scary to see this gaping hole in my stomach & feel water running over it! (sorry for the description- I won't post a picture of the wound!)-haha!

I still feel very blessed to have my liitle girl here & all of my boys adore her too. We are praying this heals quickly, so I can get back to playing fun mommy :)

I still can't believe how little she is. All of the newborn clothes & 0-3months just drowned over her- it is crazy! Here I thought they would only fit her like once- they will fit for probably 2-3 months. I have taken several hundred pictures so far, & my friend Kel came to the hospital & took a bunch also :) there will be plenty of pics of our little princess & her hotty bros!

Love you all - thanks for the prayers....

*Ginormous hat on her little bitty head*

*Sleeping sound in her bassinet made for a princess :)

*Ooooh, I just love getting her all dolled up! She is so yummy :)

Baby Birthday

Hello to all ---we arrived at 5:30am for a 7am surgery. My C-section went so well & I have recovered today splendidly :) -I don't know why I just used that word! Anywho, our little angel girl is here & we are still thinking between 3 names. We wish she just came with her name tattooed on her hiney!

This has been by far the best C/S recovery for me & I know I have had a few angel hands involved in that. I was a bit nervous when they had to take her to the NICU. She had swallowed some blood & fluid, but after some suction & oxygen she came out of it smoothly. Jason brought her to my room while I was resting & said he had a "surprise" (I thought she would have to be in there for 3 more hours) He had her with him & I got so excited- we immediately pulled the headband / bows out & dolled her up :)

Creed, wants to hold & kiss her lots. Treygen loves the activity books & such that she gave him. Tekai just loves eating all the snacks at the hospital :) - & he did hold her for like 10 seconds. He's still a little confused about the whole sitch.
We are all so happy we have our new addition, bundle of pink girly girl. Yes, she will have GINORMOUS Bows, bracelets & toes painted. So, if that bothers any of you, this might not be the blog for you to look at :) haha!

I am feeling a bit loopy & think I need a little shut eye. Jill will put some pictures on here for me. Thanks for the Love & support - I have the BESTEST FRIENDS / FAMILY in the World :)

She's Here!!!

Howdy everyone, this is Jodi's sister Jill posting. She and the beautiful baby GIRL are doing Great! She had her at 7:15 am and she is 5 lbs. 14oz. and 19 inches long. We are still waiting for the little angels name. I will post more picts when I get them.

6 Hours To Go...

Yep, I am CRAZY staying up this late when I am delivering in 6 hours!!! I always get pretty nervous & can't sleep the night before. Even though the house has been dusted, mopped, vaccuumed, sanitized 18 times & so forth.....

Jas & I went out to eat & saw "Four Christmases" (Hilarious, highly recommend it!) We have done this each time the night before I have my babies. Only we usually take the kiddos to dinner with us, my kids didn't want to go out with us tonight :( - They were too excited for Grandma to be sleeping over-haha!
The night before I had Tekai we went to the "Howard Jones Concert" - it was awesome! People thought I was crazy & my doctor did too, since I postponed having him by 3 days so I could go to the concert, sweet!!
Next time I post we will have our little babe & hopefully not be too lupored up, or in too much pain.

Loves to all :)

Random November/December Photos

Luck? - I think not!

Alright so I have 4 days left until my c-section & as always, my 2 other friends due after me, had their babies this past weekend & today!!!! Just my luck- haha, but really I was excited for them, & it took my mind off of my misery :) & saw their beautiful little girls. I was really happy when Amy called to tell me to hurry & get to the hospital so I could be there to take pics of the birth... 5 minutes late for the actual birth, but so glad I was there!
I can't believe we will all have baby girls within days of each other! Congrats Amy & Sara- little Hailey & Maizy are darling, I am excited for my princess to meet them.........& Lyndi will be right around the corner, woohoo!
