Gram Gram's Meds, not Candy!

We had quite the scare yesterday, when mom found Kai guy with an empty bottle of her Thyroid medicine Synthroid! He had eaten 30 pills- yeah I was freaking out! I called poison control & they told me it was life threatening & we needed to get him to a hospital, then she told me to hold on a second because they may want to call an ambulance. The line then got cut off & I was a little panicky, to say the least. I called back & she told me after putting in the figures & dosage amounts that we could just wait it out & not go to the ER. WHAT?! After telling me life threatening, ambulance craziness I was still worried. She told me the symptoms would kick in, in about 12 hours - 3 days & to watch him. The symptoms were: fever, redness, flushed, clammy, diarrhea, vomitting, agitated, racing heart rate, severe headache, hyperactivity, restless..... OH JEEZ, is that all?? I hung up, Jason gave him a blessing & he fell asleep in my arms for an hour. I called my doctor, who is our Bishop of our Little Valley Ward :) & we completely trust. They called me back & were pretty concerned, telling me not to wait & go right to the Emergency Room!
I rushed down to the hospital & carried him in. Right as I told the nurse/front desk person what had happened, they immediately got us to the back! They were also concerned like my Dr. & worried that it had been 2 hours now since he took them. After checking all his vitals & the ER Doc came back - he said he would divise a plan.

I'm thinking "PLAN?, okay what are we going to be doing- pumping his stomach?" Anywho, after about 15 minutes he came back & said he spoke with Dr. Thompson & Poison Control & with his weight & the dosage he took, it wasn't as threatening as they thought. The numbers were 1.6 & they get really nervous if they are 2 or higher.

Soooooo, they told us to take him home & watch him for 2 -3 days & make sure the symptoms don't get out of hand. -Not sure how out of hand that means, but I've been watching him like a Hawk! He has had more energy & has acted a little more silly than usual, but thank heavens he's okay. We are praying he stays that way & we don't have to go through any wild symptoms.
Kai enjoyed playing on my phone in there & then kept saying he was all better & ready to go home. He was very excited about the bracelet he got to take home with his name on it. :) He kept repeating himself while we were in the room there "T-E-K-A-I, dat is my name, Dakai - I get to take dis home & show da kids!" The nurses & Docs were all very sweet & just loved him. Me too :) he was happy about the popsicle they gave him also & pinky promised me to NEVER get into any medicine again!!

Judas, we pray that doesn't happen ever again!!
*** I had to add to this post 3 days later: Kai has had horrible symptoms: severe headache, fever, chills, clammy, vomitting, heartrate racing & just miserable! My poor little guy :( this has been a nightmare, he is having all these reactions like drug addicts who go through withdrawls....
We are praying this passes today (Sunday) it started on Friday. ***

Don't Judge Me

I did what I thought I wouldn't do.... yeah, I put Cayzli in a Beauty Pageant! Look, we all know I love to doll her up, dress her up, do her hair, put the whole ensemble of cute stuff on her. Well, 1/2 the time we are all dressed up with nowhere exciting to go... & then my friends tell me about this Miss American Starlet Pageant. I've got to be honest: whenever I hear starlet, I think of a sleezy actress or something- haha! don't be offended! Anywho, I decided what the heck- one pageant could be fun. Plus, she is little enough, that she wouldn't care about winning. :) --- & then, she did WIN!!! Bonus woohoo!
*My pretty princess.... oh, I guess Queen!! (Leesa my sis-n-law made this dress-soo talented!)
*Cayzli (Co-jo) hanging out with her bestest Maizy (Mo-jo)
*The proud Family picture - her crown kept falling off. Cayz liked the light up trophies more than her Big one! -haha She also won Miss Photogenic (thanks Kel for the awesome pictures)
*We had a Fun time together- dancing & clapping! The boys were so cute with her too - they are excited because she won 3 nights in Palm Springs for the family :) at an awesome resort with 42 pools--that is what Creed keeps talking about :) This is where they have the "Nationals" - so, we'll see.

Tekai Guy is 3

*Tiki Man sportin' his shirt Creed made him it says: "Today is my Birthday!" Love his sweet smile :)

*this is the "water bottle" cake he insisted on having!! gotta love this kid & his originality!

I can't believe 3 years ago I had this little strawberry colored hair baby boy. I had a few scares with that pregnancy & I thought we would be good with the 3 boys. The first thing I said when they lifted him up from the barrier thing(C-sections) was, "Oh my gosh, I'm not done!" My doctor laughed & said he had never heard anyone say that in the delivery room. He is our "sweetest littlest" - boy that is!

Kai was the smallest of my boys: 6 lb. 10 oz. 18 1/2 in. but that has not stopped him from growing as big as Treygen & thinking he is as big as Creed!

Some of the things we love about Tekai:

1- His bubbly personality!!

2-Kai is almost always happy, smiling & saying the funniest things: "yesiree" "No-way" "probby" "ah-dangit" "one cool dude"

3-He is loud & fun just like the Brown's!

*Jason did his infamous buzz cut again, & this time he suckered Treygen into doing his too! Which is funny, because he is not easily convinced of doing things :) Treyg likes to be like Daddy. I think they are both a couple of hotties!

Treygalish 5

Treygen had another birthday - woohoo "5" for this dude! We celebrated at Jumpin' Jacks & he was the daredevil of all of them! He didn't want cake or ice-cream, that's how he rolls! haha :) But I decided to make him a brownie cake while he was shopping with Gma.

Treygen James weighed in at: 7 lb. 7 0z. 20 in. long - my biggest boy at birth. He has since changed that. He has the Curtis metabolism :) & is long & lean.

Here are just 5 things we loove about our Treyg's:

1- He is very considerate of his bro's & friends feelings- always giving to others!

2- He is way kicked-back & goes with the flow

3- He loves to go for bike rides with his mom ("Zeke"), he is "Luther"

4- Treyg is not influenced by others- he is unique. He wears shorts all the time & doesn't care if it's cold outside- he's not cold, he's wicked awesome!

5- He is a thinker & smart at remembering things. He likes to tease & act like he doesn't know things (like #'s & letters) & then we'll play games & he picks these things out like No Big Woop! When he was 3 I thought he was color-blind. We would ask him what a certain color was & he would say the exact opposite! (Big time Tricker!) His pre-school teacher said he was so smart & a real thinker :) He keeps us on our toes!

Happy Birthday Treygeater the Heater- We love you!

*Candles in the shape of a "Y" - he loves BYU, go Cougs!

*I picked this up at DI - yeah, I scored, woo-woo!
*This is my finished product - love painting!!
I just finished painting another room- I'll have to post picts soon.

I have been horrible about posting lately. I am just "jacked up" on this GrenX product that I love! I get doing so many things & don't realize how the time gets away from me-- ahhh! Anywho, I am addicted (in a good way) to GreenteaHP. It has given me energy I have lacked for awhile now, & with no Crash! It is amazing stuff that is healthy & FDA approved :)

Some of the health benefits included are: Weightloss, helps immune system, cholestrol, blood pressure & ENERGY of course! There really are so many benefits, it is FABULOUS for everyone :) & lots of flavors. So, yep I'm the CrAZy spokesgirl for them.

Anyone interested needs to check out these sights:

Cayz "One" Already??

Yeah, I'm pretty much freaking out about my baby being ONE!! I hate that they have to grow up. Cayz turned one & turned into a lil' spitfire sassy girlfriend!! All of the sudden she is into everything, & just found the doggy door--- that's trouble. Thank Heavens she has 3 older brothers to help us out! I think we know now why she was last to come :)
I still remember finding out about being pregnant with my angel babe, like it was yesterday!
I was a bit in SHOCK, still trying to deal with the loss of my daddy
not feeling sane at all
praying it would be a girl & then finding out about complications & Praying it would be a healthy baby- not worrying about the sex.
The looong 2 weeks we had to wait to find out the Amnio results- which turned out fine & then confirming our baby was a GIRL! I asked the lab lady several times if she was looking at the right chart & was she sure, she was a girl?! She assured me the Amnio could read the chromosones just fine, & YES it was my chart in front of her :)
Shopping with my boys to pick out a cute girly outfit to tell Jas the exciting news
Buying her first bows, bracelets, shoes... awwwww the list goes on & on & on.....
FINALLY meeting this little Spirit in person for the first time, really tugged on the heart strings knowing she came straight from my daddy's arms, she was so tiny yet I could feel how powerful she was. Her auburn red hair, teeny mouth, precious eyes, those itty bitty toes & lil' Curtis nose made us all fall in love immediately :)
Putting her first bow on her head, & bracelet on her hand didn't seem real -- haha funny I know, but a Big deal to me...
Struggling between names: Kyella, Cayenna, Cayzli (this was our only shot, we had to think it over for 3 days!!)
Cayzli Raine Curtis - "she has a name" is what every nurse, doctor & family member was saying.
It snowed all day & night right before we brought her home from the hospital. It was beautiful to see snow all over the show!
Sleeping in her (what seemed to be GINORMOUS for her)bassinet for the first night - I watched Cayz most of the night, trying to really believe she was our miracle finale GIRL!
Cayz started out at: 5lbs 14oz & dropped to 5lbs 4oz within a few days. We put her in Preemie diapers & clothes for the first 2-3 months. It was like playing dress up with dolls, so of course I was in Heaven. Taking in every moment... & a lot of Pictures! My kids know that everywhere we go, mommy will have her camera :)

We have had an AMAZING & Blessed year with Cayz & she completes our Family/World!
The Princess weighs in at a whopping 16 1/2 (we have to count every lil' bit) lbs. (with all her clothes on!, she is 26 in. long, She is getting some muscley cheeks & Flintstone Feet :), wears size 1 -2 diapers, size 3-6month & some 6-12month clothes, size 2 shoes & has a VOICE, she will be heard! :) -(I'm not real sure where she gets that from?)
She loves her Daddy, but is getting to be a Mommy's girl :)
Foods she likes: mixed veggies, bananas, peaches, pears, oatmeal, bread, lil' soup crackers, pasta, graham & animal crackers, oh & she likes when she gets tastes of suckers & ice cream :)
Words, that we understand: "Dada dada", "Ma mama", "Yeah" & I'm pretty sure her next one will be "Shoe" --she loooves em & has plenty of them!
Songs: You Are My Sunshine, Most Beautiful Girl In the World, I Am a Child of God, Beautiful Girl, I've Gotta Feeling :) -- yeah she tries to shake her booty with us dancing!
Cayz is sporting 6 teeth now (4 on top, 2 on bottom) & her hair continues to grow :) I have cut her bangs several times to keep out of her eyes.
C-Girl is showing us her mad walking skills, but knows she gets around pretty quickly by crawling. She started doing this funny position like she's trying to do a forward roll. She puts her hands on the ground, bum in the air, head looking back between her legs with a huge grin & then I help her flip over.
C can also do some wicked awesome squats, & she does them a lot when she stands up! She squats up, then squats down to where her bum almost touches the floor, & back up again. She obviously picks up on excercise very fast :)
She is soo fun to doll up! Gram Grams calls her the "Fashion Diva" & "Fashionista" -haha!
I call her "MINE"

I love her sweet smile, the way she cuddles, her fun spunky personality, the way she sucks her fingers "I love you" ones & rubs her ear, the way she lights up to see her big bro's & them playing-she joins in, her DRIVE for Life- she doesn't want to be held back & will let you know so... hence the WALKING!

I love you baby Cayzi Cupcake, you will always be my princess girlfriend!
(excited to get her one year pics back from Kel -she took some cute ones today, Thank you! We will be celebrating McKai's "birth"day very soon girl!)
