Truckin' Along

I am feeling overwelmed a lot lately with Jason travelling. My famous line "some days are better than others" is setting in. We are grateful for Jas' work & the great company he works for. It is just not the most ideal situation we'd like to be in (him travelling so much) We know this will lead to better & greater things, it is just the journey that is hard. We are so blessed with awesome family, friends & good health. I have amazing kids who are willing to help (most of the time) but we also have days where they don't get along & make mommy crazy :) haha! We keep on truckin' & count down the days until daddy gets home each time. I wish I could update this more. We have so much going on & fun pictures to post. One of these nights I'll by-pass a project & put some pictures of the happenings on here. For now, kids school, baseball, gymnastics, scouts, karate & daily chores...& of course, my fun projects to "keep me sane" are consuming me! "Wait for your rainbow at the end of the storm" -- I guess I'm learning more patience (I'm not the greatest at that, persay!) Loves to you all :)

Girls Getaway

My cousin Lara (Lala) & I planned a trip to Vegas for the weekend. My sis Jeej & my friend Mel from AZ were supposed to come also, but they couldn't make it last minute :(

We still had to go- plans were made, yummy restaurants & sucker blings were awaiting us & there was soo much fun to be had...

Kai Guy is 4

This spunky lil dude turns 4 on Groundhogs Day! I remember when I was pregnant & my doctor told me I was going to have him 2 weeks early so my uterus wouldn't rupture (lovely C-sections) He asked if January 30th would be ok & I told him I really wanted a February baby. He laughed & said okay what about the 1st; I asked him if we could wait until the 2nd because I really wanted to go to the Howard Jones Concert on the 1st! He thought I was crazy & we both laughed about how insane I was wanting to go later than earlier :) It was a great night celebrating my son's birthday early!

I really thought I was done having kids when I was about half way through my pregnancy with Kai. Jas & I decided we'd be okay with our 3 boys. Then as my Dr. held this sweet little red head up from behind the draped cloth; my first words were, "I don't think we're done having babies"

Tekai Virge takes after his name sake, my Gpa Virge. He's solid with a great round head, blue eyes, huge smile, awesome laugh & fast as lightning!

He likes "Phineas & Ferb" "Scooby Doo" & "Batman"

Kai is a fast runner & likes to play ball in the yard with his bros.

He is excited to do Gymnastics & possibly Karate! "You don't want to take a roundhouse kick to the head with these bad boys on do ya?" -name the movie :)

He has superhero strength & is trying to decide between IronMan & Batman for his Halloween costume :) We love this kid...

Wonder Woman

*This is what I woke up to the other day... 4 kids & 2 pups in my bed! When dad's gone, they think they run the show :) (a few of them were sick, but cmon 3 & 5 am wake up calls?!)

*This is how I feel lately, hair sticking straight up! (minus the adorable smile)

I recently found out that I'm not.......wait for it..... WONDER WOMAN! Yes that is correct, you heard it right, take a deep breath I'm as shocked as you are. Thought I could do it all: run kids to & from school, to sports, make meals, clean up meals, play blocks, trucks, dolls, tag, clean bathrms bedrms family rms & yard, do laundry, organize rooms, make treats, play games, help with homework, read books with kids, break up fights, get kids to potty without accidents, workout, bike with kids, nudge kids to do chores, help in school classrooms, give massages, do fun projects, make sno cones, get everyone ready for 9am church, help out with church & somehow find time to shower & get myself ready during the day!

Raising 4 kids is CRAZY especially with a husband who travels for work. Lately I find myself taking care of everyone & realizing I haven't even brushed my teeth until noon. If only I were ok with dishes in the kitchen, toys all over & a little dust in the house. Wow, that last sentence almost made me hyperventilate just typing it!

I wonder why my face is breaking out & I'm getting moody? Hmm, call me crazy but Motherhood can wear you out & seriously, hormones, what the crap is this all about?! Don't have your tubes tied, have your hubby get snipped (just an FYI)

I can see why people hire nannies, housekeepers & even chefs. Wow that would be awesome to take that kind of load off!

I get overwhelmed with life just like everyone else. So, I need to take a deep breath & maybe hide under the covers for a few hours (or days) hahaha like that's gonna happen. OCD is kicking my butt & I'd like to roundhouse kick it where it counts!

I just want to make crafts, paint a great piece of furniture to make it fabulous, have fun with kids, & exercise when I want to, is that so wrong?

That being said..... Wonder Woman does not exist! She is just a busy mom with a CrAzY life & great kids (most of the time) that she loves even when they drive her MaD :)

Pfhew that was a nice vent & now hopefully I can convince myself to stop trying to be perfect!

Treygalicious is 6

This kid still softens my heart! Yes I have days where he drives me crazy (to be funny) but he has such a sweet compassionate heart about him, you can't help but love him. Treyg can be stubborn but he is determined & tries so hard to make people happy. He takes on a lot of his daddy's traits growing up, so we know he will be a good guy -haha

His favorite things right now: Nintendo D.S., building cool towers & things out of blocks & legos, rollerblading, finding $ everywhere we go :), making ramps for his bikes,Soccer, football, basketball, noodles with parm cheese, Subway sandwiches, Oranges & playing games with the family! He told me today he wants to be a Dentist-woohoo, he's not messing around with professions! Maybe he'll hook us up on our dental work :)

We love you Treygalish, Treygeater the heater!! Happy 6th Birthday buddy boy.

Wow another year for me & my lover! Here are 12 reasons I love Jason:

Christmas 2010

We had another Fabulous Christmas, even if I had a hard time getting in the mood to decorate this year! Holidays always seem to come & go quicker every year - what's the deal with that? All 3 pups went to their new homes :( sad for us, happy for them. We celebrated Christmas with several fun parties, acted out the Nativity, had White Elephant Gift exchange & had too much yummy food! (just as I was doing soo good- getcha everytime!)

**Kidlets got more than enough (as always :) highlight gifts: Creed-Nintendo DS, Treygen- $ (& toys) he wouldn't tell us a whole lot of what he wanted, easy kid! Tekai - Batcave, Cayzli - Pink Kitchen (sooo adorable); & the infamous Train Table they've been wanting forever came too :) & yes of course we had to make something LATE Christmas Eve, (Aprons for kiddos) because what is Christmas in our household without doing that?! Some of the past few years have been: Jason's 375 blocks he made the kids & we painted until 3am, & Big Foot Pillows for kids. Aww just caught up in the Magic of it all -haha :)

**We left the day after Christmas for Vernal. Jason is working for Halliburton, so we went with him for the week, & FROZE our lil tushies off! It was 5 below zero & bitter cold. We had a good time swimming in the indoor pool, playing in the snow (plenty of that to go around) playing games with family & just hanging out! We drove home New Year's Eve & we watched the temperature drop even colder as we headed more south. It hit 18 below zero just outside of Cove Fort! I'm not built for that cold stuff- fun to play in the snow & visit. We were honking & yelling "Happy New Year" on the road-- didn't quite make it home in time. We were reminded of the time we travelled through Texas on the 4th of July & watched fireworks from the freeway as we drove :) It is fun memories like this with our family, that I love! It doesn't matter where we are, as long as it's together. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011 -- BRING ON THE FUN!!

Cayzli Raine is 2

December 12th, 2008 was a special day for our family. We were so excited to get our little auburn headed angel here! 5 tiny lbs. 13 little oz. she melted our hearts & we just couldn't get enough of her....... 2 years later: it just gets better & better! Just minutes old

*Our sweet Cayzli Raine loves shoes, bracelets, dresses, bows & everything baby! She loves to play duck duck goose, hide & seek & jump on her big bros. She sings, dances & rocks her pups to sleep. She still sucks her 2 middle fingers & says "I love you" too! She is talking more & more & has a little sassy attitude to go with it. Cayz was a picky eater to begin with & didn't hit 6lb until she was 2 months old & only weighed 14 1/2 lbs at 1 she fit into newborn & size 1 shoes at one year. She now weighs 23lbs loves bread, string cheese, craisins, cereal, coco's (cookies) riding wiggle cars, climbing on the jungle gym & has little Flintstone feet (wide & pudgey) ...mmmmm she is so yummy & we still can't get enough of her! We are so blessed to have our little baby girl complete our family :)

November Goods

November was filled with all sorts of events every week! Creed was baptized the 1st weekend. The boys football season ended with the BIG (National) Championship Game that they won & had an undefeated season. We had a FABULOUS Family Vacation to the beautiful Resort La Quinta Waldorf Astoria in Palm Springs. Thanksgiving was great with the family at Kyle & Laurie's house & we made Black Friday not so "Black/Sad" this year & kept busy shopping & playing games with the family. We are so thankful for family, a place to live & good health! I miss my daddy but am also sooo thankful for Eternal Families.
