The Happenings

**WARNING** There are a lot of pictures in this post! I only put about a 1/4 of the pics I have taken lately too :) I am using this as journaling, & I like pics more than writing!!
Thanksgiving swimming with cousins
*Cannonball Creed!

Helping put the Nativity together

Cayzli had her tear ducts probed to clear them up- the little gown just drowned her (all 15 lbs. of her)

All done - & a bit groggy *Daddy comforting his little girl

*Cayz & Maiz in Cali - BFF's (we gave in & let them play on the ground- they were eating muffins in this picture) They had so much fun dancing to the music & playing with the light-up trophies at the pageant :) They did fabulous travelling there, not so happy coming home- they must've been pretty sad to leave Palm Springs! (actually elevation change-ears not so great)

My boys love gymnastics, I'm soo glad we share the same passion for it :) Treyg is the happiest guy in the gym & is always willing to try new skills

Did I mention I am a Great Aunt?! Yeah, what the.. is that legal?!! Cayz loves her new baby girlfriend cousin Gwen Marie Soper 7lb 14 oz; & look Cayz is finally bigger than someone :) It is still hard to believe Cayzli was 2 lbs. lighter than this! Congrats to my niece Ashley & hubby Brock (she wouldn't let me take a picture of them-I'll get her next time)

My little gymnast dude Creed -he is doing awesome, has great flexibility & amazing handstands!

*Putting up Christmas lights - is it really that time, where did the year go?

Kai & Baby Jesus (Little People Nativity- the best!)
Oh Look- a picture of me & Jas: So happy to have him home!

Her signature pose: "I love you" fingers in mouth-left hand, rubbing ear with right hand

Climbing walls?! Remember when we'd do this for entertainment growing up?

Love this lil' dude- He asks to mop :) Wow a little cleaning streak in my kids too??

Time Out For Women - Hilary Weeks next to me, & yes I look GINORMOUS, but loove my purple heels (even if I totally took a huge Fall in them that night) Worth it - Kinda!

Cayz content at the pool in Palm Springs- very relaxing 80 degrees outside

Kai loves to ride scooters & take pups for walks

"Krave" our new Favorite place (Self Serve Yogurt & yummy toppings)

Decorating the tree- we let the kids do it all this year - sooo cute & decor not quite 1/2 way up the tree :)

Palm Springs hangin' by the pool

*On the way to Palm Springs with our friends, I had to stop & get some cute pics of Cayz on these train tracks

"New Moon"in' it at midnight- yeah we were a bit crazy, but heck I won a shirt & some candy :)

This girl is "all over the show" now!

*Yeah, we're pretty much saving the planet!

Kai riding his bike w/ Cayz

*Pretty Treyg, pretty bows

Pippy Longstocking?!

*As you can see, you can tell who lets me take their pictures! I can get random ones of Treyg's, but he usually just likes to take self protraits. Occasionally, the other boys will allow a few pics :) that's what I get for taking a thousand pics a week -haha!
I have some pretty sweet pictures of Jas & I shopping at midnight on Thanksgiving, but can't post until Christmas so we don't give away any surprises :)
Now, I just need a good camera- a girl can dream!!
Creed likes riding his 4 wheeler, bike & doing gymnastics- he enjoys school, gets ancy to do more & more. He likes to be the 1st one done in everything :) He continues to be our jokester
Treygen is loving riding his bike & we go for rides everyday- he's my little "Luther Buddy" & I'm "Zeke" - Kai guy is "Kojo" & occasionally we have "Stinky Cast" (Dad or Creed) He enjoys playing games, lincoln logs & blocks.
Tekai still doesn't love the potty training idea, some days are better than others! He is very polite says "Thank you" & "I love you" all the time :) He is still our LOUDEST lil' dude (True Brown Boy) loves Scooby Do & likes to ride the "fire" scooter.
Cayzli is all over the show now- she is starting to walk! I don't love that she is growing up :( she will be "one" in 10 days, has 2 teeth on the bottom & 4 on top. She has put on a little weight now that she'll take a bottle, she is 15 lbs. currently wearing size 3 -6 month clothing (some 6-12) & size 1-2 diapers. Cayz is our Sassy lil' Princess & the boys love her too :)
I can't believe it is December & we are almost into 2010 what in the world?! We hope to have as much Fun & Crazy adventures then too :)

I am Blessed

My Forever Family

Ya know, I thought that I would hate this time of year for the rest of my life. It was 2 years ago today that I was shook up with the news of my daddy passing away in his sleep. I will always remember the day as Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. It was the most awful day of my life & I don't want another day like that again.

I couldn't get excited for Thanksgiving last year & seemed to be in a weird daze. This year I have been dreading it, until I really got to thinking about being Thankful for all the things I'm truly blessed with & how this is the perfect time of year to reminisce about all the fun times & memories I had with my Padre. I still feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone, so my mind isn't clear, but these are some of the things I am thinking of:

*My 3 boys were blessed to get to know my dad, & each have characteristics of him. I am thankful for that.

My sweet baby princess was sent to me straight from my daddy's arms. I am thankful for that.

I can whistle like my dad. I am thankful for that.

My Dad was able to be with me in the Temple when I received my own endowments & also on my wedding day. I am thankful for that.

My dad was the best listener & gave great advice; with an un-biased opinion. I am thankful for that.

Jas & my dad loved to talk sports & they got along so well. I am thankful for that.

I might have "num-chuck" calves & a long torso, but they came from my dad & I am proud to be his little girl. I am thankful for that.

I inherited my dad's love for the Yankees, BYU, Peanut Butter, "Nuggies", Neil Diamond, Willy Nelson, John Denver & Johnny Cash music, travelling, & hanging out with Family. I am thankful for that.
His passion for sports & his competitive streak lives on in me, & my kids :) I am thankful for that.

Some awesome quotes that will always stay in my family: "Judas!" "Slower than a blind camel" "Mash his melon" ... oh the list goes on & on- I miss him.

One of the biggest blessings I am thankful for is His Example. He was REAL - & life wasn't sugar coated. He made everyone feel good about themselves & served all he knew, up until his final hours on this earth. I am thankful for that.

*I am also so blessed to have my wonderful mom! I can't even explain how much she does for me & our family. I know it had to have torn my dad up to leave her, but he knew she was such a strong Rock & could help each of us kids through this life. She is an amazing lady, only worried about all around her- not herself. She has such a fun bubbly personality & lives her life in service. I wish I could do more for her, as she has done for us. I hope I can follow her example & be like her someday. I love you Mom & know that Dad is proud of you & is with you all the time. I am thankful for that!

So I hope I can try & remember each year what I have been blessed with, & not what I felt was taken from me. It won't be easy, & I'm sure I will have a few emotional melt-downs- but hey that just means I'm alive. I am thankful for that.
*I would be really thankful too, if blogger would let me download these other photos- I'll keep trying-hah!

Creed is 7!

Creed had another fun filled Birthday. We had a family party at Pirate Island Pizza. Jason surprised him & got home from Texas on his B-day (w/Gpa Curtis) & picked him up from school. He was excited about his cool presents: Pirate Legos, BYU football, light up truck & trailer, space shuttle, games, clothes & orange crocs :) We also surprised him & took him his favorite Taco Time meal for school lunch...

Creed is such a great help & good kid. We are happy & blessed to have him in our home. He is the life of any party. Creed loves sports & is currently taking Gymnastics. He is excited for his 8th b-day to be baptized. Love you Creed Bear- you are an awesome dude!
