I had a Fabulous Birthday! It started off about 7am my kiddos brought breakfast in bed (yogurt w/ granola, cereal & juice) they got it all ready by themselves :) They were so excited for me to open presents & cards they each picked out one for me.

Creed's card said "You are Awesome--& by awesome, I mean totally AWESOME, Happy Bday"

Treyg's said "It's your birthday, Vegas rules apply!" -haha

Kai's said "Don't be shy..time to unleash your inner party animal! Happy Bday (it has a little hamster guy dancing to the music "Shake shake shake your booty!"

They picked out some cute whale earrings & 2 other pair of silver ones & Nemo necklace & earrings :) They also got me a couple of shirts- one says "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" it has a lemonhead on it (I love lemonheads) & the other sweet shirt is 2 pieces of bread 1 p.b. & other jam that says "spread the love" My kids ROCK! We swam at our pool & they made me a cool fort too.

Jason took me to this yummy Italian Restaurant "Bertucci's" & I got my new FAV pasta ever-- it was penne with brocolli, asparagus, spinach & peas in a garlic oil sauce & yummy bread to dip in garlic oil...MMmmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it! We also went to Hershey's Chocolate World with the fam a few days later. Oh my Gosh, not a huge chocolate lover, but WOW the goods there are so FRESH! Obviously since it is made there :) Darn Delish

Creed got some GINORMOUS Twizzlers 20in. they were soo soft, Treyg got Reese's Peices & Kai got a tin of Good N-Plenty -they were soo good! Cayz got a cute soft bear with a lil' Hershey's dress (not edible) but she loves it & dances with it all the time! The kids had fun in the factory works where they got to sort kisses & put in their own container & the ride was great.

We are having soo much fun back East, besides missing family, I don't want to leave. This has been such a great adventurous experience & I'm happy we have been able to do it :) Jas is such a hard worker & an amazing husband/dad. We are truly blessed!

Happy 4th - America!

*We had a Most Fabulous day in Washington D.C. for the 4th of July! We drove to the outskirts & took the Metro Train into downtown mall district. We passed all of the Smithsonian Museums, the lines were ridiculously looong so we'll go back & do those on another day. It was soo much fun to see all of the Patriotic people everywhere-- there was supposed to be about 2.5 million people-CRAZY. We found a nice spot in front of the Washington Monument looking towards the Lincoln Memorial & hung out there for most of the day. They had a huge stage w/ sweet music playing, we played games, tag, & the kids loved getting hosed off by the First Aid guys :) It was such a cool experience to be in our Nation's Capital on our Nation's Birthday! I loved hearing the "Glee" cast sing some awesome 'Journey' songs, & got emotional when patriotic songs were sung.
Overall: I give it 2 thumbs up- w/ a HUGE bones EXPLODE!

Maryland Mishaps

*Hotty dudes with Battle Scars!
*Battle Wounds- Before
*After

Ok- so the day we got here, we drove around the area where we'd be living. I was pointing out all the different shopping & businesses around. I noticed the Urgent Care & joked about how atleast we know where that is! Little did I know we'd become REGULARS there! The very next day we were swimming at our fun pool, when Treyg decided to try a mean trick off the steps & throw himself into the bar that you hold to get into the pool. His top 2 teeth went through his bottom lip...all the way through! Yeah, it wasn't the funnest part of our pool day! I couldn't tell it had gone clear through until the next day. We decided to take him to Urgent Care, just to play it safe & to spend a couple hundred bucks just for them to tell us "It's Fine," just looks awful. They did give us an antibiotic in case of infection, or to make me feel better about the cashola I had just thrown their way. Treygs lip healed fairly quickly & nicely.

A few days later another little boy out here got a concussion from playing at a play place & getting run into. They contacted us to find the doctor's office. One week after that, little 11 month old Khloe (another friend) tripped & cut open her eye & had to have 2 stitches.

Again we were contacted for directions to the infamous Urgent Care. We were all hanging out roasting marshmallows & making s'mores one night & talking about how we hoped the craziness of accidents was over.

Sure enough one week later my lil Creed dude 'took one for the team' on the escalator & "cheese grated" his leg (shin) open! He hobbled off the escalator & I looked down to see a gorry, bloody mess. Trying to keep my cool, I ran into Pottery Barn & asked for some bandaids.

We got him cleaned up, but we still had to walk home. We live just down the street from the mall, so we walked. Bad day for walking I guess. We loaded up in the car & headed for YEP you guessed it URGENT CARE. Creed was a little nervous about needles & stitches, but hung in there like a real champ. I actually watched the 4 shots & 4 stitches the doc did. Surprisingly enough I held it together & didn't black out! We headed to the store to get him some medicine, & a Wicked Awesome Truck :) & he was good as new!

We now have just under 2 months left & we are praying we will not step through the Urgent Care's doors again :) *Oh, & I just got my mail: guess who sent me a $100 check? Urgent Care-- I'm not sure if it's an incentive for sending so many people their way, or if they just feel bad for all the money I've given them -haha SCORE!
